Hampton defeated Morgan State by a final of 60-55 in the championship game of the 2011 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament.

Darrion Pellum was named Tournament MVP.

Joining Pellum on the All-Tournament Team was teammate Kwame Morgan II, along with Dewayne Jackson and Kevin Thompson (Morgan State), and Kyle O'Quinn (Norfolk State).

C.J. Reed of Bethune-Cookman won the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Player of the Year Award.

Casey Wallker of Delaware State won Rookie of the Year and Kyle O'Quinn of Norfolk State won Defensive Player of the Year.

Joining Reed and O'Quinn on the All-MEAC First Team was Dewayne Johnson (Morgan State), Darrion Pellum (Hampton) and Thomas Coleman (North Carolina A&T).
